I Heard this as the first track played on this weeks Gilles Peterson Show and its nice to say the least from Rough Fields (who is known to his Mum as James Birchall) following on from ‘You As You’. Lots of gentle layered sounds, fragile vocals and ‘found sounds’, these tracks demand your attention and patience – there are some slow but effective intros used, and some of the tracks, such as ‘Waller’ are hardly there at all, but that just adds to the beauty.
